Alignment of labels

I am using OS X Yosemite and can not get the labels to line up with the characters. I have tried to adjust vertically but will only adjust down. It will adjust horizontally. So to compensate to get the job at hand done I adjusted the characters down to the next label. That way I lost the whole first line of labels. This was on Avery 5267 label sheets. On the Avery 8160 labels it was aligned horizontally but about two lines down vertically.
Not real happy with this expense of $9.99 for something that doesn’t work as advertised.
